At Ridge Oral Surgery, we are committed to using advanced clinical technology to promote your safety, expedite your recovery, and optimize your surgical results. We use platelet rich fibrin, or PRF, in conjunction with other treatments to enhance your body’s healing capabilities.
PRF is a byproduct of your own blood plasma. We extract it via a simple blood draw, not unlike what you would experience during a routine physical checkup. We then place your blood sample into a centrifuge, which spins and purifies the blood, separating the PRF and other essential growth factors.
PRF then promotes your recovery and expedites healing by being injected into the treatment site or combined with bone grafting materials.
